Alice & the Wonderlandz is a duo based in Truckee, CA, with Alice Osborn on vocals/guitar and John Kedzie on keyboards. Featuring Alice’s original compositions and her strong and sweet vocals and John’s varied and original progressions this band can’t be categorized—it’s an energetic mix of folk, Americana, pop, and adult contemporary that leaves audiences waiting for the next note to drop.

E. "Doc" Smith is a percussionist, producer and recording artist with Edgetone Records, who has performed and recorded with the likes of Brian Eno, Madonna, Howard Levy, Trey Gunn, Fareed Haque, The Deep Energy Orchestra, Facing East and many others. He often performs with his custom-made, musical instrument, the Zendrum EXP.

The Blues Monsters have been taking center stage for over 30 years! A red-hot rockin' blues band from the North Lake Tahoe and Reno area, The Blues Monsters were voted the #1 blues band in North Lake Tahoe for 7 years running "Blues Access" a national publication reviewed their 2nd CD "Live Vibrations" and could it be said any better, "this band has all the ingredients for a great show." The Reno Gazette Journal stated "this CD should be used as a teaching tool for anyone who wanted to record a live CD." Their first CD "Red Hot Hat" received substantial airplay on KTHX Reno as well as "Mick Martin's Blues Party" the blues show broadcast on NPR radio in Sacramento and sold thousands of copies.

Bringing a chill, groove-based California reggae vibe created from the culmination of global talents, experiences and passion; Pipe Down was founded in the throes of the global pandemic in the Spring of ‘21 on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. With a distinct sound drawing together reggae, indie rock and hip hop, the group’s since dominated the local live music scene with their energy and memorable live performances.

“It’s the perfect band, really,” says Maher. “I’m super lucky I have such talented musicians who want to play with me. I need to grab the reins a bit and pull it together. I kind of feel like I’m still faking it. It’s just magic how all this came together.”

ViceGrip blends free-form funk, outlaw country, dirty blues, psychedelic rock and heavy metal with technical prowess and rebellious bravado. Their live concerts are more than just music; they are an experience.

“My bandmates have become my family,” says Kunert. “And beyond that, we’ve got a lot of close friends who have become family through the band. It gives us epic experiences we wouldn’t get without being in the band. We’re just trying to be West Coast jamgrass, a perfect mashup of the Bluegrass State and where we’re at here in California. We’re all interesting characters. All of our life experiences give us a uniqueness of our own.”

Many people love the mountains. For others, mountains are life itself.

Local musician and builder David Beck lives over Donner Summit in Cisco Grove. A true Tahoe native, mountains are in Beck’s bloodstream. His father is adventure filmmaker Craig Beck; his older brother, Clayton, worked as a pilot and alpine ski coach. His latest album - Mountain Music was released for streaming on all major platforms on May 6. Its completion gives Beck the chance to share with the world his two greatest passions: mountains and music.

Boot Juice began as an acoustic guitar duo formed by Davis natives Connor Herdt and Evan Daly in high school. When they went their separate ways, Herdt attended Feather River College in Quincy where he met vocalist Jess Stoll. In the summers, the couple worked together for Cascade Raft & Kayak guiding on the Payette River in Idaho.
